The rules for using LessonDone.

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and David Shizo ("we", "us") about your use of LessonDone at lessondone.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

LessonDone lets you connect your accounts on learning websites, queue your lessons and assignments, watch the sessions run live, and review the study guides it writes from them.

Who may use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. The Service is not directed to children under 13: people under that age may not use it or submit personal information to it, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are old enough to use the Service but under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that you have any permission from a parent or guardian that the law where you live requires.

Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts the Service or other people at risk.

Other websites and connected accounts

  • LessonDone is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the websites or companies whose services you choose to use with it, and their names belong to their owners.
  • You decide whether to connect any account on another website. You are responsible for following that website's own terms, rules and policies, including any rules about automated or assisted use.
  • The other website may limit, suspend or close your account there because of how you use it. We are not responsible for that, or for the result of any action carried out at your request.
  • You may connect only accounts that belong to you or that you are authorized to use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or the rights of others;
  • try to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts or our systems;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass its security or rate limits;
  • overload, disrupt or interfere with the Service, or send spam or malware through it;
  • scrape, copy or resell the Service without our written permission;
  • use the Service to harass, defraud or mislead anyone;
  • help or encourage anyone else to do any of these things.

Payments and bookings

Where the Service charges a fee, the price, what it covers and how it is paid are shown before you pay. Our refund and cancellation terms are on the refund page and form part of these Terms.

Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text and logos, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify or reverse engineer it except as the law allows.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or end any part of it, and we may update these Terms, at any time. If we make a material change we will update the date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that results, answers, scores or outcomes produced with the Service will be correct or complete, and you are responsible for checking them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, grades or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and fifty US dollars (US$50). Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Ending your use

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we must do so for legal or security reasons. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law) survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in the State of Florida, United States have jurisdiction over disputes about them, unless the law where you live gives you a right to bring a claim somewhere else.
